About Us
BlackWhite Hosting came to life in 2008 after receiving bad service from a number of other hosting companies. We found these companies expensive and inflexible - more interested in taking our money than providing support to their customers.
After providing services to a range of small companies, our family run business decided to develop services for the general public with a focus on customer service and affordable prices.
Our aim is to provide all our customers a high level of service with very competitive prices. You may find hosting companies cheaper than ours, but none with a commitment of providing you with value for money web hosting and high quality support.
Servers
Since February, 2008 blackwhite-hosting.co.uk have been using custom dedicated high-spec servers which allows for high performance and stability.
The switch to these high-spec dedicated servers has allowed for higher performance and stability whilst maintaining 98% uptime.
Many hosting companies cram as many domains as possible to a server, negatively affecting the performance and causing problems for all customers! We are proud to say we are one of the very few companies who use high quality hardware and never run more than 200 domains from any one server.
Data Center
All of our servers are provided by the RapidSwitch network located in the Blue Square data centre in Berkshire, England. The buildings are watched by 24 hour security and servers are protected via a UPS failover and secondary generator facilitities.

Network
All of our servers are connected to the RapidSwitch 10Gb network using an internal fully switched 10/100 Mbps network via a series of redundantly routed switches.
Bandwidth load is accurately monitored on all servers and in the event of a network failure, traffic is automatically re-routed within seconds down alternative connections.
